Who We Are
AV Straps and Accessories started as an idea to offer cool and unique products to the cymbal community. We wanted to create a line of cymbal straps that not only were of good quality but also fit the aesthetic needs of the individual player or an entire line. Having a team build entirely of cymbal players and instructors with a wide range of experience across the Marching Arts realm allows us to apply a strong list of criteria into creating the best version of product. With this, we created a line of straps that cater both to the physical and visual demands of modern cymbal straps, allowing performers using our straps to perform with confidence.

Steve Nelson has served as a cymbal instructor for various WGI groups in the southeast since 2014. He has also worked with scholastic groups since 2011. His independent marching experience was from 2008-2013. Steve is an endorsed artist of SABIAN cymbals, and holds a WGI Judging certification at Level 200.
He is excited for everyone to see some quality cymbal products from AV Straps hitting the market!
